What are the differences in FMT Certification?
FMT BASIC addresses functional kinesiology taping theories and applications for pain*, posture, edema, scars and neurological symptoms.
FMT PERFORMANCE builds on FMT BASIC concepts, with an emphasis on functional kinesiology taping for myofascial pathways to improve movement and enhance performance.
FMT GERIATRICS introduces the concept of movement therapy and enhancement via functional kinesiology taping methods for geriatric population,
FMT PEDIATRICS introduces the concept of movement therapy and enhancement via functional taping methods with the pediatric population.
FMT EQUINE integrates functional kinesiology taping to improve rehabilitation, sports performance, joint range of motion and muscle function in the equine population.
FMT CANINE integrates functional kinesiology taping methods to reduce or control pain*, manage swelling or edema, improve neurosensory awareness, increase joint range of motion and muscle function, and maintain a level of functionality and comfort for the canine throughout the rehabilitation process.
FMT IASTM Certifications
FMT BLADES will review screening dysfunctional movement patterns and utilizing soft tissue tools to improve patient treatment. The anatomy, physiology and MOST IMPORTANTLY the neurology of myofascial soft tissue work is covered, along with supporting research.
FMT BLADES ADVANCED introduces the concept of skin/fascial/nerve gliding and neuro-sensory pain* modulation via Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Movement utilizing a rubber sleeve for added tissue traction, as well as, using a hair comb attachment for pain* modulation via specific mechano-reception stimulation.
FMT Cupping and Flossing Certifications
FMT RockFloss Certification introduces the concept of skin/fascial/nerve gliding to help reduce tissue swelling, improve movement and modulate pain* with the use of ‘compression band floss’.
FMT RockPods Certification introduces the concept of skin/fascial decompression to help improve tissue mobility, improve movement and modulate pain* with the use of myofascial cups.
